  • Archisoul

    Archisoul Architects and Consultants are a team of Architects, Interior Designers and Sustainability experts who are passionate about the health of the planet and it’s inhabitants. Directors Sue Connor and Jo Gillies have had their own practices for over 22 years and have partnered to form a team that is able to focus on our passion of producing inspiring, ethical, environmentally conscious solutions. We design with a holistic and integrative approach to the landscape and our knowledge of building biology ensures our interiors are healthy spaces to live in.

  • Archology

    Archology aims to approach the design of the home as a physical element within a living ecosystem. The business was set up by Terry Bail, an architect with a background in science and permaculture. These skills are used to approach the design process with the client, using landscape as much as possible to work with the house as an integrated living system whether this be for energy conservation, water collection or food production. Many of the projects incorporate elements that have either been recycled or repurposed to give each project a richness that helps to create unique personal environments that will reflect the owners’ own personalities.

    Australian Living specialises in the creation of truly sustainable homes via our unique Sustainable Fusion service that fuses sustainability into every aspect of design and construction. Our customers enjoy living in their energy efficient, natural, healthy and comfortable homes that didn’t cost extra just because it is sustainable.   • Ben Giles Architect

    Ben Giles Architect creates economical solutions that maximise the quality of living environments for their clients. The aim is to provide uplifting and contemporary homes and extensions to suit every budget and size of dwelling. The practice provides services from initial site inspections and sketch design, followed by council applications and construction documentation through to calling of tenders and administration of building contracts throughout construction.

  • Carol – Marra + Yeh Architects

    Marra + Yeh Architects are experts in sustainable architecture, undertaking projects from concept to completion through a clear and client-focused stage by stage process. Together they work with clients to discover what a building represents and how it fits into your personal life.

  • Chris – Sydney Solar Electricity

    Chris Pond from Sydney Solar Electricity Pty Ltd is an experienced service provider of advanced and innovative electrical solutions for domestic, commercial and industrial installations. Their range of work includes small scale solar power systems to large scale schools and university installations, as well as solar sculptures, solar maintenance and battery systems.

    Sydney Solar Electricity provide full project management from start to project completion. From auditing and assessing energy needs and roof space, to understanding the goals associated with having solar and the level of offsets required, Chris and the team will work with clients to customise a solar system that meets their individual needs.

Using ecological design principles Free Range Food Gardens create gardens that make the best use of water, soils and sun available at each site to grow an abundance of nutrient dense and healthy food that is full of flavour.

  • Gavin Gilchrist – Gav’s House and Garden

    Gav’s House and Garden is an inner-city home handyman service with a difference. Proprietor Gavin Gilchrist does all the usual handyman services  – household clean-up, gardening, painting, minor carpentry and fixing stuff – but he also brings 20 years’ experience in clean energy so he can also give you advice on LED lighting, hot water, insulation and solar PV. He can give you advice on going green, then help make it happen.

  • Graham Hunt – Delisle Hunt Wood

    Graham has over 30 years’ experience as an architect, mostly in the area of environmentally sensitive design. He also has nearly 20 years’ experience as an accredited NatHERS assessor and has completed hundreds of thermal comfort and BASIX assessments.

    Delisle Hunt Wood is a relatively new firm of architects, where three experienced designers have combined forces to create a fresh approach to sustainable design. Working primarily on alterations, additions and new homes, they are client focused using a practical and personal approach to provide cost effective solutions that create stimulating, healthy, resource-efficient homes that are holistically conceived.

    Their projects range from the smallest urban renovations to extensive reconfigurations and additions, no matter the scale of project, we believe successful, responsible, environmental design is about making smart choices rather than costly ones.     Lucy Sharman is the former Senior Project Officer, Green Roofs and Walls at the City of Sydney. She has been a sustainability educator for many years and has turned her expertise towards specialising in green roofs and walls. Green roofs and walls not only add beauty and value to your home but they also benefit the broader community and our environment. Lucy will be able to provide you with advice on the sorts of green roof or wall designs which may suit your particular needs as well as tips for getting the most out of your green roof or wall.

  • Matt Day – Day Bukh Architects

    Matt and Day Bukh Architects are deeply interested in designing ecological and sustainable buildings for the Australian context. Their ecological concerns extend beyond reducing energy use to include social sustainability. This involves designing buildings that last by using environmentally friendly materials that withstand the harsh Australian environment, and that can be adapted for re-use and longevity.

  • Matt Elkan + Adriano Pupilli

    Matt and Adriano share a studio and collaborate or work individually as the projects dictate. Adriano’s design practice is centred on thoughtful architecture that intuitively responds to people and place. He believes that bigger is not necessarily better, designing smarter, finely-tuned buildings from small home renovations and new homes to eco-friendly staff and tourism accommodation. Adriano’s work celebrates the natural beauty of site, renewably sourced building materials, and the rituals of his clients’ daily life. Matt specialises in small to medium sized residential projects. Sustainability is core to every project. This is expressed in siting and orientation, minimisation of site coverage, the form and scale of buildings, material selection, re-use and recycling wherever possible, and reduction in the reliance on active services. It is also expressed in creating joyful beautiful buildings.
