Jess Perini – Permaculture Specialist
Jess has been practicing and teaching permaculture for over a decade and is highly regarded for her contributions to the Asylum Seekers Centre Permaculture Garden and Randwick Community Organic Garden, and is the founder of ‘Permaculture for the People’ – an organisation that linked disadvantaged communities with knowledge and skills around permaculture and growing organic food.
Jess enjoys empowering people with knowledge to reduce food miles, and garden more in tune with nature. Of particular interest for Jess are establishing self-sustaining permaculture gardens, saving seed, native beekeeping and composting.
In her day job she works as an editor and writer specialising in sustainability.
